Episode Highlight

“Zillow puts out reports all the time. It talks about the average number of buyers per home. And it went from a high of 27.9 buyers per home at the height of this frenzy during the summer to now; it’s like 19.2. Now, with that said, I’m also noticing that the average price per home is going down, which is really ironic, in the marketplace right now where we were carrying a $272,000 average purchase price has now dipped below $200. These are a lot of first-time homebuyers buying homes now, where our previous clientele was second, third, fourth, fifth time. I think we’re at over 72% of our transactions right now are all first-time homebuyers.” – Darren Peterfi, Peterfi-Cantleberry Real Estate Team
